How's this. A mate come round yesterday. We sat outside away from each other and caught up. He rings an says he's been feeling weird and feverish.

He did say it was exactly like Ross River, he's had that before and people relapse.

He also inhaled a pot of mushy and cactus juice after he left here. Someone shoved it under his face and it smelt weird. If he has a fever or similar again he's going to Drs.

No coughing and he's a tobacco smoker.

He was fine before he got here he says.

This is the thing. If he has it so does everyone on the coast...

So as GarnerSmash said up thread 200 cases is where things go **** up and that's where we're at.

I reckon this is a really good policy, so no chance Scomo will follow suit, even though it makes absolute sense. Well done Kiwi's
That's all well and good in theory, but would you assume that those who are tourists would voluntarily isolate themselves for two weeks?

If clubs have to play 2-3 times a week it could really benefit us or totally destroy us.

The broadcasters could put a crowd track over the the broadcasts in the way American sitcoms have a laugh track.
You could possibly squeeze 4 rounds into 3 weeks.
Actually just have the sitcom laugh track for turnovers, clangers, sh!t umpiring decisions, easy goals missed. And a whole lot of other random sound effects like fart noises etc - the empty silence of the stadium has to be lightened up.

I'm thinking the music from the Benny Hill show.

Hey it comes with a ladder. U.S.A. just outside the top eight . Places like Egypt I can see making a run for a top 4 finish.

226?
Hitting straps now
The last four days has seen more than a doubling of confirmed cases. Its interesting to refresh that page every few hours. Over 1500 new cases recorded worldwide in the last hour or so.

And another 100 in the last 10 mins...

Amazing that it can grind the workings of a global society to a halt like that..

You clearly underestimate the power of media over stupid people.

It's still a serious issue but you're right the combination of clickbait media, government indecisiveness, and mistrust of the scientific community, all in the internet age really creates a perfect storm.

"Government indecisiveness" has nothing to do with it. They act on the recommendations of scientists.

Stop turning this in to a political commercial for the ALP.
