Some experts are still pushing the full lockdown narrative. Some are even suggesting a 4 week lockdown.

Seven news and in some articles. Mostly based on the NZ approach. Can you please provide context? What experts?
I tend to agree. The experts use China as an example. Would Australians be ok literally with being locked into their houses like what the Chinese did to people?
“A panel of the country's foremost biosecurity and health experts have put pressure on the government to introduce stricter measures which could bring an end to the lockdown.
Making the case for a short and sharp lockdown, biosecurity expert Professor Raina Macintyre said the longer Australia continues a 'phased and gradual' increase in restrictions, the longer the outbreak will continue.
China has demonstrated the feasibility of a short lockdown followed by the phased lifting of restrictions.
'A short, sharp lockdown of four to eight weeks will improve control of the epidemic in Australia, reduce case numbers more rapidly and bring us to a more manageable baseline from which phased lifting of restrictions and economic recovery can occur.
If we fail to do this, we face continued epidemic growth, the potential failure of the health system, and a far longer road to recovery.'
No thanks
I tend to agree.
I know some people are using NZ as an example, but they have faced far different circumstances to us. I think the scaling model has worked well did us, but I will support a wider lockdown if Murphy and co think it is he right approach.
ResoluteOh yeah... The key thing will be what they rename it. Coz if they don't blow the damn thing up, there's no way it's gonna have the turnstiles ticking over if they keep it named The Ruby Princess.
Any thoughts as to what a new name could be?

They are and they are struggling to restart economic activities from scratch.Aren't China's numbers beginning to increase again?
Their lockdown ended too early.
I'm struggling with the idea that people aren't being allowed to go to holiday homes.
Wtf not?
Apart from shopping and getting fuel (which could be managed) somewhere else how does it increase the risk of spread if people stay isolated there?
And that NSW pollie who is in shit for being in the same place he's been for weeks (or so he says) ... That's ridiculous unless he is being a dickhead in public.

I've just got back from an hours walk around our local streets and it appears to me that several families have ignored the request to stay at home. Numerous houses in complete darkness with empty driveways. In contrast adjacent homes with lights on and cars in driveways.
It seems to me that non-compliance is quite high and for mine I am very disappointed. The problem is that people who head off to their holiday homes or similar destinations, inevitably go to supermarkets, petrol stations and takeaway food venues, may in some instances need to go to doctors and pharmacies in country towns, that they otherwise would not have; and by doing so raise the potential for covid-19 outbreaks in areas that are simply not equipped to deal with such situations.
As far as I am aware, the only hospital beyond Geelong through to Warrnambool, that has ICU capacity is Warrnambool itself. Not sure about Colac, but Camperdown and Terang do not. Timboon and Cobden no longer have fully operative hospitals. I have no knowledge as to coastal towns such as Anglesea, Lorne and Apollo Bay, but it is pounds to peanuts they won't have huge medical capacity.
If those areas between Geelong and Warrnambool have had an influx of visitors, and it will be all the way along the Great Ocean Road to Port Campbell, then if things go awry, it will put huge pressures on facilities not equipped to cope with more than the usual situations.
What is so hard to understand about "Stay home and save lives"?
