It's amazing how malleable the American population is.

It’s too diverse a country to make sweeping statements, but the religious aspect puts them on a similar platform to some of countries they think have needed regime change.
But there’s another part of their public political character that is usually a sideshow but now has tangible impacts around the world. The conspiratorial eye that sees outside threat in anything. Knowledge, modernity, PC, vaccine, Soros, the media.
There are large swathes of the US that are just, I don’t know, completely f’ed.
Yeah and the issue is that the CDC appears to be telling the record keepers 'if some dude dies, and you assume coronavirus may have been involved somehow, then list it as a coronavirus death'.It just looks like record keeping to me.
This country is cooked.
If someone's been confirmed sick with it and dies with it that would perhaps otherwise not have died then covid will be listed as a cause of death. What do you guys make of the coding being used to report cause of death as covid-19?
...the rules for coding and selection of the underlying cause of death are expected to result in COVID-19 being the underlying cause more often than not.
COVID-19 should be reported on the death certificate for all decedents where the disease caused or is assumed to have caused or contributed to death.
So if they assume that coronavirus 'contributed' to the death, it is listed as covid-19?
I'm no medicine-talking guy, can one of the many apparent experts in this area help me out? Am I reading this wrong?
While everything about this is anathema to me, I can’t help but think that it’s the basis of practically every inspirational movie since the dawn of time from “It’s a wonderful world” to “The Mighty Ducks”. Just saying. It’s still wrongheaded, though.

What is your source for this claim? If someone's been confirmed sick with it and dies with it that would perhaps otherwise not have died then covid will be listed as a cause of death.
On the other hand the +/- 200 people reported dead in their apartments daily in NYC (up from 25 or so a day) who have not been confirmed to have it will have 'unknown' as cause of death, so swings and roundabouts.

Scores of ‘probable’ coronavirus deaths not counted in NYC tally
Dozens — if not hundreds — of coronavirus deaths in New York City will not be included in the Big Apple’s grim tally, because victims died at home without being tested, The Post has learned. …nypost.com
The FDNY has recorded as many as 200 daily deaths at home in recent weeks, far more than the average 25 deaths at home before the pandemic.

New York and New Jersey both saw their daily death tolls spike to new records Wednesday for the second day in a row, while New York City’s coronavirus toll surged well past 4,500 — more than the number killed on 9/11. Where in any of those does it say 200 up from 25?Sorry mouncey2franklin forgot to tag you in this.
It's all very very easy to find, I left that last link there for you in case those sources don't satisfy.
You can read right?Where in any of those does it say 200 up from 25?
...2 paragraphs laterWhere in any of those does it say 200 up from 25?
Edit: In the last article they write this:
But another 200 city residents are now dying at home each day, compared to 20 to 25 such deaths before the pandemic, said Aja Worthy-Davis, a spokeswoman for the medical examiner’s office. And an untold number of them are unconfirmed.
...
That’s because the ME’s office is not testing dead bodies for COVID-19. Instead, they’re referring suspected cases to the city’s health department as “probable.”
So these would be included in the coronavirus death count, if I am reading the CDC advisory correctly.
The Flying V. The knuckle puck. Goldberg, as a concept. Loved it all.
So you are suggesting that the NY health department is going against the CDC's advisory?...2 paragraphs later
But the health department does not include that number in the official count unless it is confirmed, a spokesman said.
Have you seen Goldberg lately?
Didn’t take his demotion at the hands of Julie ‘The Cat’ Gaffney well at all.
Wow, that Icelandic team must be pissing themselves laughing at him now.
I'm saying that as in those articles until recently there has been a severe underreporting of deaths which is probably why this has been enacted. So you are suggesting that the NY health department is going against the CDC's advisory?
Or they have a separate 'official count' to what we see on TV?
