All well and good but unless players and their partners (and many players have more than one) are also being hermetically sealed off, it is just a matter of time.

In the case of the Gobert/NBA stuff, the common medical advice is generally that you're infectious roughly a week before you start displaying symptoms. The Jazz played four teams in the week just gone, someone's made the point that you're playing a close contact sport, where you're sweating and exchanging bodily fluids. Then you go home and you hug your wife, your kids, your husband, whoever, they go and do what they do, or you speak to the media afterwards and you shake hands with event staff on your way out ...

Hooked in to Saint V's yesterday to get my 8 weekly immunosuppresant infusion.

Interesting 8 weeks coming up for me and my 85 year old Mum who I'm giving full time care to these days.

I inject myself with an immunosuppresant pen every 2 weeks. Even going to gym is starting to worry me.

Sauce?

Everything I see online still refers to suspension, not cancellation. Some game shave been cancelled, though.

Think it's a hiatus, but an extended one which some are interpreting as a cancellation

Before anyone becomes concerned, this is just so nobody has to sit through 2.5 hours of badly officiated 6-6-6 zoned football.
Yep, pull out ya DVD's (and vidoe's) from the 80's and 90's and enjoy when footy was hard and free

Cheers lads, we'll just stay pretty housebound, order everything online, etc.

The worry is Mum. 85, multiple health related issues and a son that has to attend hospital every two months who is already ****ed healthwise to get more white cell killing drugs into his system.

I'm just not gonna think about it too much.

I'm on immunosupressors full time. fu** this shit.

Blows eh?

25 years and counting for me.

You folks take care of yourselves.

My sisters immune system has been shot since having chemo for stem cell treatment for MS (didn’t work). She’s a nurse for a living. I worry about her with stuff like this.
The advise I gave her yesterday was to be extremely careful at the moment.

You need to do the same.

Its all over twitter at the moment. I guess its called a suspension, which I guess means games are gonna happen? But nobody allowed to go? I'm not too sure.
