The Germans are arsekickers at everything when they set their minds to it. Arguably the greatest technological society on earth.

I wouldn't say it's a coincidence either that the same holds true for Austria. Their death rate is currently running at .3%. It's early days, though, and the whole thing could go pear-shaped later - who knows. However, it does look better for them. You'd suspect their health system is coping well.

How far do these measures have to go before some of us begin to wonder if there is an alternative agenda behind some of it?

Banning gatherings, telling people to stay home, giving police the right to arrest people for walking around...

My point was that Australian governments following basic health advice isn't the imposition of a totalitarian state.
