But where will the WA Economy be then if Meth supplies dwindle? :O

Why would meth, smack or any other drug supply be affected by this?

Interesting. The government must be getting advice from these people though right?
When you brief ministers with expert opinion informing recommendations you'd think they would but often they or their staffers like to 'add value' by making changes. Essentially their egos can't take it.

However, in this instance there may be a difference of opinion amongst immunologists. Potentially the ones advising the chief medical officers, departments and ministers' offices disagree with Dan Suan and others. Or the chief medical officers disagree with the immunologists. Lots of potential scenarios - it's murky.

Look at how Morrison says "Don't get your news from Twitter!" when referring to fake news.

He never says Facebook - even though the real shit circulates on Facebook.

But he knows his vote is on Facebook, not Twitter.

He wants the Karens on Facebook scared by this.

ISIS operated like a traditional military in Iraq and Syria and hence got blown apart by US airpower.

Their overseas operations were based on the works of Al-Suri -

The US was waaaaaaaaaaaay behind the curve on this.

Back around the time of the surge some of the money that the us was paying Iraqis to fight each other instapead of it went to groups that became ISIS. I think Robb's advice on managing asymmetric fighters had something to do with that.

You've probably got a better handle on the details but my understanding was the group began around then, possibly earlier, and grew with (unwitting) US support for as long as they could. I think something similar happened in Syria too when Obama tried to support the anti Assadforces.

Does that sound familiar?

Daesh began in 2003 as Al Qaeda in Iraq and yep, the US paid Sunni tribesmen to fight them in 2007/08.

.22s were for rabbits when I was a kid...

Same. Or tin cans in Niddre quarry.

If you can get metal moving thru somethings brain quickly in the right spots it should be enough to **** it up. But cattle have thick flat skulls.

Pretty hard to get the product in when the borders are shut, no passenger travel, halt to economic trade.

A shipment of 5 container loads of car speakers when nothing else is coming in other than food is going to look slightly suss.

Dad worked on stations in the Territory for years, I remember him saying something one about trying to kill a bull with a .22 but it must have ricochet off the skull and the bull was still alive... he wasnt very happy (the bull)

Rub your crystal balls and tell us what you think life will be like in Victoria in 3 weeks time?

Will the wheels fall off like Italy? Food shortage?

Yes, but you're taking chances. Better to knock it over with a .303 or something like that.

He would have been better off taking a sharp heavy machete to the poor things neck and cutting it from reality in one swipe.

Probably, although as I said the meat was nice and much more gamey than most beef.

Best best is a solid shotty slug. They used them in abbatoirs without bolt guns.

I knew someone who did that on King Island. Used to have to take the gun home and back to work every day, it was a km walk or something. Imagine walking to work with a shotgun, not really something you see much of in Australia.

If you cut a shotgun shell, remove the lead and stuff it with newspaper then it results in a two or three foot long tongue of flame out the front. A mate had an illegal pump action Winchester shotty back in high school. We did it to his ten year old brother once or twice. I still feel bad about that over three decades later.

Italy is at like D+14 since human to human transmission.

Most major cities are following the same trend as Italy, some are exceeding them, like Spain.

We are only at like +4 or +5.

It has generally exploded in most countries from the point at which we are at now.

Bulls have even thicker skulls as they mature. Two bulls going at each other is a sight to see, and be out of the way of.

Dairy is bad enough, but those Brahmans he used to deal with are far more feral

The gear could be in the metal ridges along the side of the container, and it could sit there for weeks afterward before it disappears for a night and reappears looking almost exactly the same.
