Need to start treating idiots like children.
2.19% could easily look pretty expensive in a few weeks. What's everyone else here doing with their mortgages. I know all the banks are doing the 3-6 month freezes + some other extras (ANZ's deal look pretty good - ANZ 2.19% Residential Home Loan Fixed 2 Years Owner Occupied + 6 Month Freeze Repayment + $4000 Refinance + 0.3% Bundle Rebate). The consensus seems to be - waiting is prob best. The ozbargain experts agree:

Now seems like a good time to capitalise on some of that $4000 refinancing bonus cheddar (minus the fee) and move things around a bit. I don't know how long this thing is going to carry on for (never know what might happen income-wise) and it'd be nice to chill on repayments for a little bit until the dust settles and then reassess afterwards.
I know we have a biggish lot of financial experts (Tas and co.) in here and so is waiting the best?

I'm ok for both right now. Did I tell you about the deal I got offered on the sports socks? Let me know if yI didn't and I will tell you the story. And that’s why you should have been stocking up on multibuys of bog roll last month, not sports socks.
shes is stroppy that the corona virus had been able to acheive shutting down the foreign borders when she couldntMaybe it’s just me, but Pauline Hanson seems awfully quiet
Hard to say, it would be a case by case basis but people should see if they can get a better deal. I wouldn't be surprised if things get worse, financially, before they get better but if this potential coronavirus treatment has legs we could see a quicker turnaround than is anticipated.

wife got some from coles for my dad in his 80s yesterday. seemed to be a lot more organised, staff were handing packs out 1 at a time to customers requesting them rather than the pathetic free for alls that were witnessed n the last few weeks. one can only hope this level or order becomes the norm again.Bog roll shortage appears to be coming to an end at my local woolies.
Public libraries and shopping centres are a good source of toilet paper. Don't get greedy. Just fold up a few sheets and fill your pockets. Then add them to your roll at home.Which suburb? Promise not to raid your supermarkets... :stern look

Definitely don't get greedy. Something about libraries causes some people to need to use the rest rooms urgently.Public libraries and shopping centres are a good source of toilet paper. Don't get greedy. Just fold up a few sheets and fill your pockets. Then add them to your roll at home.
