Let’s go even further and just print a ******* shitload of it like Zimbabwe.

No, that's not what I'm suggesting at all and is completely and utterly different.

This is Keynesian 101.

Dunno what all the whining is about.

I don't see any pissing & moaning when Dan Andrews does it.

I suppose it all comes down to which "brand" is doing it.

Yes it is Keynesian basics, but nowhere near hard or fast enough.

Andrews is doing far more with the levers at his control.

You don't understand this stuff, gets demonstrated every few pages.

Keen to hear the latest scientific advanced here though.

The non-essential travel mainly applies to interstate stuff.

Other states making announcements about travel today.

We're not playing in Brisbane next week folks.

Arden Street then

They can play the Fitzroy Ammos.

But yeah, if we can't get up there, they can't get down here.

Depending on who get in the next round of the finals, could yet be a game there though.

Maybe the AFL should step in, send everyone to melb and play games where they can?

What that table shows me, is there must be other factors in play for Italy getting obliterated the way they are.

I suspect there's many including, initial response, community clustering, familial clustering and the medical system.

Italy has been a bit of an economic basket case for some time now. The poor, as usual, are the one's who get hurt the most.

Germany.

22000 cases. 84 deaths.

The article talks about Germany having a younger cohort of infections with less pre-existing conditions and their capacity to conduct mass testing (160k per week) as factors. They are expecting the rate to rise though.

The common theme in success seems to be testing.

‘Work related...is essential....’

Surely they can continue then...‘

Seems to be a race to shut the season down in the media.

Looks like click bait to me.

Soz mate. Yeah agree totally.

They're going to end up writing them off anyway.
Yep, you can't get blood from stone.

A serious rethink on how business is conducted globally will be in order at the end of this.

Covid 19 is the hands on the economic balloon.

Scratch that, PM directly asked about AFL and NRL travel and waffled a bit but the takeaway was that they'll do everything possible to keep footy going.
