GOP senators, starting probe, demand WHO turn over details on COVID-19's origin
GOP senators on Tuesday requested a sweeping list of materials regarding what they called “WHO’s failed and delayed response to the Coronavirus.”abcnews.go.com
I'm just saying that in my opinion if you said to the general public in Australia you can all go back to work, back to the pub, the footy etc, but the trade-off is you have to let us have the ability to track your movements via your mobile phone for the purpose of being able to conduct rapid contact tracing in the event of any new positive tests, I believe the majority would accept it. Especially if they believe the alternative is 6 months of stage 3 lockdown. That is all I am saying so you can keep your bridges and statues of liberty.fu** that! Are you serious? Do you realise what that would lead to? Ffs

Ah so.I’m referring to China as lying
What about the massive crematoriums?
Still doesn't mean the public wouldn't give it to them. It has happened before with things like terrorism where the public is either willing or indifferent to trading off the right to privacy for a perceived benefit of a safer society. It wouldn’t stop there. Once they had that power, they’d never let it go

Ah so... Yeah, China won't give a fu**.
I can only hope the 30,000 students we let in didn't come from Wuhan...China allowed 5 million people to leave Wuhan after they were aware of the potential of a novel coronavirus outbreak. Dead set campaigners
If they were going to be a problem it would have happened 4 to 6 weeks ago. Our infection numbers suggest that there was no real problem arising from that source.I can only hope the 30,000 students we let in didn't come from Wuhan...
Ironically we actually contained that wave quite well, there were only like 11 or something cases that came in in Jan.I can only hope the 30,000 students we let in didn't come from Wuhan...
We were a little slow ourselves, but we were quick to ramp up the travel and distancing restrictions come mid March.Ironically we actually contained that wave quite well, there were only like 11 or something cases that came in in Jan.
However it was when the USA and Iran started getting infected we started having problems.
Unfortunately other countries didn't contain the first wave of Chinese exodus quite as well as Australia.
Do you put yourself in that category?
Likewise. Tracing is an important component in the eradication of the virus in our country, even though I have individual reservations about it all.If I was confident that there were safeguards in place, that any changes were strictly temporary, that all data collected would be destroyed or at least anonymised at the end of the threat, and that there was sufficient independent oversight, then yes I would be okay with it.
Do you trust scomo to be able to do it?If I was confident that there were safeguards in place, that any changes were strictly temporary, that all data collected would be destroyed or at least anonymised at the end of the threat, and that there was sufficient independent oversight, then yes I would be okay with it.
The sector is expecting a $5 billion shortfall in revenue this year. and at this stage it will take up a decade for some institutions to recover. Those with large cash reserves or assets in property will be ok in the short to medium term, but all unis will feel the hit.Universities are going to be hard hit. A lot of their business model and programs are centered on catering to international students.
No but I'd like to.,
Bro have you seen the heat map over Wuhan around the time of the breakout? Shits Crazy.
Ah so.
Yeah, China won't give a fu**.
Well, they might. If Val gets so mad, that he either loses his job or goes to prison, then he might not be able to afford his mortgage. That's when a Chinese "investor" will step in and graciously buy his house.
It wouldn’t stop there. Once they had that power, they’d never let it go
