i can see all the lies we have been sold, all you can see is Trump, Trump, Trump

we were lied to about the mortality rate, the modelling and who knows what else

we don't know how many people covid has really killed, between people dying with it and people dying from it, between people dying without testing but called covid deaths, empty hospital needing patients getting paid for covid, politicians bumping up or down numbers as per suits them and for all i know numbers are bumped up to give the Americans more leverage in the trade war against China.

This is where people like you get it all wrong.

What people like me (with soy emotions) object to is idiots like Palmer & Trump who think their expertise in Mining/Property/Bullshitting make them more qualified that Doctors, Epidemiologists, Research Scientists etc.

It's part of the anti-science, post truth, populist bullshit that has seen such an increase in recent times and led to the rise of populist, narcissistic w***ers being elected to offices that they have no business being in.

I would be absolutely delighted if HCQ was found to be effective as a prophylactic or treatment for Corona Virus. I'm in favour of anything that helps us get the pandemic under control.

But that doesn't change the fact w***ers like Palmer & Trump should let experts make public health decisions and go back to whatever it is they are actually good at. I wouldn't let either of them run a school canteen.
