Faaaaark. I thought they were just into soft drinks, chips, supermarket shit. Didn't realise they owned some of the biggest fast food chains in the world.

Monsanto produce over 90% of America's soybean production due to the fact they produce and have rights over patented GMO soybean seeds, soybeans that are resistant to their own poisons which are some of the widest used poisons in the world. Monsanto started out as a poison manufacturer that they then transposed into food production (And things like Agent Orange, you know, normal things like that). They also control most corn production. ie stuff that's in everything.

Thus, they produce the soybeans that inevitably go into the manufacturing of tofu. at least in America, and they dominate a huge percentage of the world soybean seed market. So even the most vegan foods are likely heavily involved in corporate devastation.
