There really should be an umpiring board. But the problem is that there is already enough bagging of umpires and the rules on here. So why not change the General Talk board to Umpiring issues

Why does there need to be a separate umpiring board? It seems very few people have enough knowledge to provide definitive answers anyway and some that think they do, and state them with authority and arrogance, are wrong anyway...

On the idea of an "Umpiring Board", Suzi, there aren't enough of us umpires on here to have a legitimate one anyway.

It would just become an excuse for you, me and the other umpires to chat about the rules of the game..it would be rarely visited by anyone else.
