BTW I got my tickets to the Corner gig today. Psychos here I come!:D

Sensational. I checked the RAGE site and he has chosen some good stuff.

The only Psychos video I have seen is Back to School so I am looking forward to having a look at Dead Roo.

I hear that they did an outrageuos video for Whip Me which was too hot for anyone to show.

Going to the Corner IAMDASH?

New Album out called Glorious Barsteds.

Can't believe the Psychos are still kicking goals, albeit with two recently new members.

Anyone got the album? Have only heard the opening track... Nice day to go to the pub!

No, but thanks for the heads up!

Nice review from Mess & Noise

Had my former colleague been enamoured of the Cosmic Psychos, and had the Psychos ditched their time-honoured formula of beers, blokes and rock’n’roll in favour of flaccid Sandringham yacht rock, one assumes the consequential effect would have been even more exaggerated. Thankfully, they’re still on the same fuzz-laden straight-and-narrow road to the pub they’ve always been on. There’s been the odd hiccup in the Psychos journey – the estrangement with original drummer Bill Walsh and the death of guitarist Robbie Watts – but it’d take a Massey Ferguson tractor to stop this immovable force of rock’n’roll, and even then most people’s money would be on the Psychos.

flaccid Sandringham yacht rock. Haha

What were the issues with Bill and Knighty?

Sounds like it was over $ or something?

Did it have something to do with The Prodigy royalties that was pretty well publicized.

With Knighty, Bill and Dirty still around, would be interesting to see what would happen if a promoter threw a truckload of cash at them to play BDO or one of those one off album shows and do Go The Hack or Down on the Farm.

Not sure what the falling out was over but the song Kill Bill pretty much sums up where Knighty was coming from.

On the other hand Bill's not such a bad bloke, he gave me free drinks at Cherry one night :D

I'll have to get my hands on the new album as the Psychos are an awesome band.

Heard a few songs from the album on RRR including the aforementioned. Sounds like a ball tearer.

Bill ripping off the rest of the band, whilst Cherry was doing well and Robbie was busking with his banjo for beer money.
Was shortly after a mass exodus of bouncers at Cherry (and the short lived "Moser Room" bar)

Anyone from the BF community heading to Castlemaine for the premiere of the Psychos' documentary over the weekend?
I have been invited to the premiere and the show at Knighty's farm, unfortunately it doesn't look like I can get there.

It should be sensational.

I don't mind the old Psychos but that was a seriously average rock doco IMO. Just not interesting and badly edited.

Really? I thought it was great. I agree the production was a little average, especially the animation sequences but the content was so interesting that it didn't matter. Everyone I know who has seen it enjoyed it too.
