he was lucky to get those, too. No field kicks for the game, it's not getting any better for Dudd. I wonder exactly what his injury is? He's denied that he has OP. I love how Walls continues to mention him whenever a goal is kicked, if dudd got a handball at HB and a marc murphy kicks a goal a minute later, he's all over Dudd and ignores murph.

Why bring Judd into the convo? Yeah he had a bad game on the weekend but isnt he in the top 10 for contested possesions this year? and not number one because he missed a game and was concussed in another. While your on the topic of Carlton/Richmond why don't we bring up that three weeks ago Carlton defeated Richmond by 30 points? Yeah you guys have had an easy month and ended up on top of us on the ladder, so what we are in round 17, lets see at Round 22.

And on Cotchin the guy has played one great game honestly, he struggling a bit at the moment but I am sure he is going to be a good player. I think you guys are judging him to early though, he certainly not going to be a dud I can assure you of that but saying hes going to be an all out superstar is going over the top aswell.

That's funny. Judging a player based on handballs per game.

Lets just forget that Hodge averages more kicks, disposals, marks, goals, tackles, inside 50's, Goals Contributed and Super Coach points in 2008.

Some players you just know will be superstars if they avoid injuries and I dont think there is one person who knows his footy that doesn't think Cotchin has what it takes to be a 300 game star for the tiges.

You have to keep in mind that this is a kid who hasn't had a preseason, coming off an injury, and is our youngest listed player..

Lets get one thing straight I wasn't the one howling on about Cotchin being a dud, yes hes first 6 or 7 games have been pretty good but you what you haven't taken into consideration is Judd hasn't been 100% and if you say he's not then your stupid, he is the subject of the number 1 tagger everyweek straight, Cotchin not even the 4th with Foley, Deledio etc. Judd has to earn his possessions every week and ill admit alot of our players rely on him getting the clearance to get the ball. Cotchin on the other hand is roaming around half-back getting some easy kicks and possesions. For a first year player Cotchin shows excellent desicion making skills and poise when he is around the ball and doesn't butcher the ball much but I think its a little early to be judging Cotchin based on 6 or 7 games.

No it doesn't. We both have one win vs each other, so we can only judge who is developing better based on individual player performances and how competitive the team has been throughout the season.

Of course Judd isn't 100% but you have to remember Cotchin isn't 100% either, having not had a full pre season. To say Cotchin is getting his possies off the half back is plain wrong. Actually, Judd averages more uncontested possessions than Cotchin.

I just compared him to Judd as a gauge of how good he is going. Of course Judd gets more attention from the opposition, so he should. But to say Cotchin has only had one great game is way off the mark.

Also, do you still want to compare Hodge to Judd ?
