Nice work CotterI think you may have over compensated the lions lack of KPP's a bit though.
Yeah I have. This will change as I update it.
Depends on what we do in trade week and whether or not we get Tippett.

Yes it's a typo.
I'd think you will look really hard at someone like O'Rourke as he has that nice mix of speed and endurance which is great to see for a inside mid who wins the hard ball and wins clearances.
And yes, I tried to change it around a bit to create discussion and not to be too similar to the others.
Having watched Cam from U9's, he's got ALL the skills and most importantly has that extra speed burst for evasion and closing / tackling. Very unassuming and was consistantly overlooked in YJFL awards BUT won club B&Fs ( played with Nathan Hrovat ) - his highlights reel was outstanding. Top line baseballer and soccer striker ( as well as athlete ) IMO needed to increase tank for 4 quarter effort but - all things being equal - is real value for money. Come on Lions - pick him ( and Nathan ) .. they are ready to go NOW. No more Polecs please.Seem to have left out his bio, I will fix that up tomorrow. He is a highly skilled utility with good speed. He finds space regularly and makes good decisions. Will need to add some weight but there is talent to work with. HE will probably go a bit higher than where I and most others have place him.
He is READY TO GO NOW. Remember how Brisbane passed up Selwood .. and Rioli .. and Darling .. for some YouTube titillation ? Look at the value we have got from Rich as opposed to Polec. Someone who gets his own ball. Someone who can hit teammates lace out with both feet. Some one who can process 4 options whilst being monstered and choose the correct one. Someone for whom footy is not just number one - is ONLY passion. Forget the 'elite tick box' selection method. Just go to a game and see who can actually play. Simple really. End of rave.I don't think they would be put off by his height to the extent that he will slip past pick 50. If he was 182cm+ he would probably be inside my top 20. But he is not, so I see him being taken around pick 30ish.

He is one who was rated top 10 at the start of the year but has slipped. I would not be surprised to see him slide that far.

BTW Macrae has a touch of the Pendleberry - well worth a go.
I would, ridiculous position to have Shaw.
Each to their own. Shaw certainly has the talent and could certainly push top 10. I had queries on his kicking, attitude and how much of the ball he wins, But he has been improving this. Sure he has been dominating in the colts which is not a very good league, but his champs was quite average and can be kept quiet and go missing for long periods of time.
You had queries on his kicking?
Which part? This is what frustrates me about Bigfooty posters, everything is so vague, if you're going to critique a boy at least add some meat to the bones.
His attitude, do you know him personally? Are you aware of his training habits, who he hangs around with?
Im betting no.
He's dominating at the level he's playing, I've got no doubt that once he becomes accustomed to the pace and demands of the next level he'll bring the same qualities which have made him a stand out junior to the AFL.
He won the game for W.A vs Vic Country, he raked in solid over head marks and displayed the type of agility required for a marking forward and kicked some crumbing goals.
Chances are he can be kept quiet, like any full forward, when the supply his average.
Put the ball to his advantage or in a reasonable contest and at the very worst he'll give his little men something to feed on.
His field kicking needs some work. Will no doubt fix this up over pre season
A lot of the time he looks like he does not really care. Needs to work on his defensive side of his game a bit more.
He is a good mark and exceptionally good at ground level. Potential level is high.
Have you seen him first hand or are you judging him by what you have read?
The mechanics of his kicking, both field and at goal are fantastic for a big man. His set shot in particular is a very fluid movement where not alot can go wrong, his field kicking and touch kicking is also fantastic, regularly puts the ball into space for teammates to run into.
He's kick over 100 goals in two years of Colts football, last year he bagged 66 from 21 games, this year he's kicked 35 from 9 games.
So despite knowing he's going to get drafted for the better part of 18 months he's actually lifted his GPG.
He's definantly laconic, but he's also known for a long time he's going to be playing next year, similar to Jack Darling in his his second year of colts.
He's an extremely good overhead, is a very good lead up target but this year has been worked under the ball a little too often, my major critidcism.
He's good below his knees, it's not high level, it's mildly above what you expect from a kid his size.
I've watched him plenty for the better part of 4 years.
Dont mean to be abrasive, but so many broad strokes are used to describe these kids and give off false perceptions.
He does not appear to have a defensive game and I assume that's why he keeps being sent back to the 2nds to work on that. I don't think he showed footy smarts / passion and is a bit freewheeling. All well and good - and maybe I'm a little harsh - but , being a Melbourne based fan, we've been slaughtered so many times by squads who are just harder at it .. and it's really obvious to all spectators. That's why I am a huge fan of Rich - he really has stepped it up from a great base. A few more of him and away we go - and ( again maybe unfair ) if you are a first round choice, the pressure's on instantly. Or the selectors need to take a good hard look ...Also seems your not a fan of Polec? Sure he didn't step in straight up but I was not expecting him to as those types of players take a while to develop. The talent is there and he showed it this year. Has also been injured a fair bit.

Don't get me wrong, I rate him highly and he has improved. Do you think he will make much of an impact in his first year? I'm not really sure if he will. Would not surprise me to see a club jump on him early, Bulldogs springs to mind.
Good draft for the Lions mate, would be thrilled if it turned out that way. Do you think Brisbane would take Shaw with the compo pick if he was still available. Having him and Wines would be awesome. Also like that Clay Cameron you have with the 3rd or 4th round pick
