cotters can you update the draft order now that the bottom 4 is almost a lock

I can't just yet. Have unfortunately been busy non stop with work. Will update is as soon as I can though.

I completely agree with Aish being the number 1 pick, have watched him play a bit since he was 15 and I rate him as one of the best talents to come out of south australia in a long time. All rounded player and a great kid, future captain. Also wondering the reasoning is behind Luke Dunstan at pick 2? really rate the kid but not sure he is top 2 material.

On Dunstan I probably see him getting taken around pick 7-15. Rated him a lot higher when I posted the draft than I currently do. Just have not had time to update.

Any good state league midfielders, cotter101?

Mitch Banner and Dayle Garlett are the two who spring to mind. Have not been able to follow the state leagues all that closely this year. Work has been getting in the way and I have barely been able to follow to U18's.

There is a thread for the state league prospects this year. Maybe some searching through that thread might be able to help you out and provide some more names and information. :thumbsu:

Have done a small update. I'll be adding a third round tomorrow sometime . Unfortunately been tied up at work. Don't remember the last time I didn't work 14hrs in the day. So I haven't exactly been able to do everything I wanted to do this year and I've only just done this update and it's only 3 days out from the draft. So, sorry about that. Not much I could do really. It is pretty hard watching junior footy and then balancing it in with family, work and other commitments.

Fair out, left out Gold Coasts pick 20. Will add that in tomorrow when I do the third round.

There are a few selections that are a bit out there but a few of them will disappear after tomorrow.

Fire some questions at me on this thread or via inbox if you'd like.

Enjoy. :thumbsu:

Interesting to see where you have Apeness. Twomey's got him at 21 which appears to high, you seem to have him at the opposite end of the spectrum. For me he doesn't find enough of the ball to justify a top 25 selection. I actually think the Bombers are the first club likely to take him.

As a tall I guess it's not important to find lots of the ball. There's a bit to like about him and he does do some things well that other young tall's don't(his defensive game springs to mind) but I just don't think he is worthy of a top 25 selection. I probably should have him higher. I agree that the Bombers are most likely to take him.

Think it's funny that you think Lions will get Garlett... no way in hell that
s going to happen... unless you want another 2010/2011 draft group again.

Did I actually mention I think we are going to get him? In my mock he simply lasted to our last active pick and we hardly lose anything by taking a punt on him in a somewhat average draft.

Average isn't the right word, I would say thin.
