Every coach spins ****. So i dont see the point in that. Underperforming? Overrated? Lings last 3 years have been sensational. Not long ago he was one of the most damaging players around. Blame that on Lovell. Kelly has been unlucky (some motivational issues to?). He has the talent to be a star. We cant trade those types

Every coach might do it. But when you lose by 100 points you would like to hear something like "We played poorly, we'll watch the replay and learn from the mistakes". No. We get "we'll just forget about it and move on".

Ling's previous 2 years - 2004 & 2005 were good. This season was a disaster. Shown up badly in almost all facets of the game. Too slow, poor disposal and worse decision making. And don't blame the assistant - it becomes a convenient excuse for players not up to it.

As for Kelly - unlucky??? He's been there 5 years. And don't use the broken leg as an excuse as that was more than 2 years ago - and he played every game last year. He is simply a lazy player. If he won't push himself to make it no coach will make a difference.

No-one denies that his season was no where near the heights of his previous years, but one year does not condemn someone to the scrapheap, espcially after his last four seasons before this one.
