It's completely illogical, but I guess I'd feel a bit weird about it, yes.

Much more so if it was a recent thing. If I was thinking about buying a house where a murder took place, say, 50 years ago, I'd probably not care.

A year prior? I probably would. It's illogical and doesn't make much sense, but there you go.

Everyone who's ever stayed in a hospital is probably sleeping on a bed someone or ten has died in. Died of something excruciating like a fence post up the arse

Remember that the next time you're in a hospital.

They died because Big Pharma is concealing a cure for fence post up the arse

A surprisingly simple, yet oft-forgotten, point.

I'd move in with a black friend. If things get hectic the black guy always dies first.

Not always.

After trying to watch the haunting in Connecticut today I'm going to say No

When I was about 24 and looking at buying my first house I looked at little two bed place. The owners were in their 50s or so and the house was from an estate. It was completely empty and the bathroom had mobility bars at the toilet, shower etc. so was clearly the house of an elderly person. There's every chance the person who lived there died there, but it didn't seem that weird.

Knowing someone was murdered there would be a different ball game, but it's not like if they're stabbed in the middle of the living room you would just leave the bloodstained carpet there. Re-paint the room, new floor coverings and you'd never know the difference from a surface perspective.

If that was the case would you rather know or not know? My house was built long before I was born let alone before I moved in. Who knows what went on here before I came along. Could be all manner of dead bodies buried under the floorboards.

One day in the Duck Pond in Darwin I woke up and looked over the pens and all I could see was cops milling around near my mates boat.
Intrigued,I wandered over to see what's up.Turned out that some dude had been murdered in his bunk the night before.Turned out a couple of weeks later I ended up working on the "murder boat" and got given the "murder bunk" to sleep in.Laying there wasn't cool and I didn't sleep for four days.Fatigue won in the end and we slayed the mackerel.
