I live in Qld and would like to attend a couple of home games (Melb. or Geelong) and a preliminary final if Cats make it next year. Is country membership a good way to achieve this.

Prelims in other games where Collingwood or Essendon are involved would be difficult for you.

You have a great option to attend the couple of games you want, prelim though may be a hard one, all depends if we make it and who we are playing on the day.

With a country membership you have to wait until the Wednesday to buy a ticket, as you are not a member who is eligible for the members sale (Monday).

Maybe, would look at getting a September membership also, may cost more, but will get you into all finals even the GF.

My interstate membership got a big footy member a seat at the Cats v's
Pies game on friday. 98002 people in attendance, but no hope for granny

Sorry but you are talking crap. I have an interstate/country membership and I could buy finals tickets Monday morning at 9am along with the rest of the other members in the allocated Geelong member areas.

I suggest you look at the GFC website as it explains the membership packages.

Thanks mate, was thinking that you would struggle to get a ticket with that membership as I assumed it was related to the GF, whereby you have no chance of a gaining a ticket.

I would suggest though, that why just come down for the PF if you are a country member, grab hold of a September club and come down for the GF. I think that is of more importance.
