Haha - Good pickup. I've now made the necessary edit.Cowboy Joe Badcock - what an unfortunate name!
He makes that dobro sound like it's straight out of a Louisiana swamp. This bloke sounds interesting.
The Louvin Brothers: Insured Beyond The Grave - a great documentary clocking in at just over an hour: classic songs, wonderful vocal harmonies, heaven to these ears!
i don't listen to much country but i stumbled across this 2020 release from Sarah Jarosz and it's a truly gorgeous album.
i'm not sure if its strictly country or folk or Americana, bluegrass or something else....i'm going to call it "country-lite"
also, i really like the cover art.
Good list. Only know half of those names but like the ones I know. Will check a few others out later. Some contemporary ones I like include Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Cody Jinks, Dillon Carmichael, Charley Crockett, Colter Wall, Caroline Spence, Mo Pitney, Lara Lynn, Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen.
