With Nine, Ten and Foxtel getting AFL coverage next year, I was concerned about the level of coverage country veiwers would be receiving next year as neither 10 or Foxtel are available in many areas. (At least not in Mildura)
I sent an E-mail to Austar who said at this stage they have not made any arrangements to cover AFL in 2002 so it looks as though we may only get the couple of games that 9 show.
I suppose they can't keep everyone happy but at best I can only travel the 400 plus km's to see a game of footy in Adelaide or Melbourne a few times a year.
Country veiwers love their footy as much as anyone and while most people on this board won't be affected and will probably benefit from the new arrangements I'll have whinge anyway about how country people are going to miss out again.
