192 vs 195. Not too much in it.
Having never seen anything of Birchall, can I just pose this question; Is it possible that they plan on grooming him as a key defender?

^thats what I originally thought, But ive read he cant be held accountable and many people think he could loom as being a winger.

What? Another Knee Reco for Muston? Does anyone know actually what Knee Reco's do to players? Sure in the short term after their injury they might be hampered , but long term ???

Muston- knee reco must be a huge cloud over him. Will be out for all next year and possibly more.

Dowler- well who knows wat potential serious issues could arise from his dramatic car crash

Hawthorn have taken a huge punt on these two players so all this back slapping could prove to bite you on the arse.

Birchall- not a kpp in any sense of the word. He is a midfielder/wnger/halfback. Unaccountable so dont look at him as being a key defender. A big question mark over the ticker as well. Has all the attributes of a modern day footballer though, but sometimes this just isnt enough.

don't worry they'll be fine and Hawthorn will be a powerhouse soon! stop talking negatively, they'll be good players and once again Hawthorn has done awesome in the draft.

Langford was considered exactly the same before he played. In his first season or two played mainly as a winger then went on to become one of the best HFC FB of all time. Where players start and where they end up is not always aligned.
Didn't Jonny Hay get recruited as a forward and Nick Holland as a FB?

Couldn't be a KPP doesn't like the physical stuff, over here in the Grand Final Devonport Vs Burnie, Burnie players gave him a bit and he went completely off his game, rarely sighted the rest of the game

Lets hope the kid learned from that experience. It looked as if a lot of recruiting officers thought highly of him and I think that the Hawks were pretty happy with him still being there at 14.

It cannot hurt the Membership sales in Tassie either!!:thumbsu:
