A lot of those that I like have already been mentioned, but there's a few that I'm surprised haven't been mentioned.

In addition to covering The Commodores' Easy, Faith No More also covered Bee Gees' I Started a Joke.

Faith No More also covered Lady Ga Ga's Poker Face.

Lady Ga Ga loved it.

I'm not a big fan of the original Woodstock recorded by Joni Mitchell, whereas I think Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young did a brilliant job on their cover.

Whitney Houston did a great job covering Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You (it was also covered by Linda Ronstadt a year after the original release).

I'm very surprised nobody mentioned Jimi Hendrix's All Along the Watchtower

They were a bit of a one hit wonder, but Urge Overkill did a great job on Neil Diamond's Girl, You'll be a Woman Soon.

Guns N' Roses did a number of covers which I think are better than the originals:

Joe Cocker did a great job with The Beatles' With a Little Help From My Friends

The Fugees covered Killing Me Softly with His Song (originally recorded by Lori Lieberman in 1971, before Roberta Flack recorded it in 1973 and made it famous).

Enjoyed this version a lot. Singer is able to summon the correct levels of rage and band has great energy.

Was just about to post this, great cover, think denzel curry should quit the rap game and front a band, he's surprisingly good and as ypu mentioned the band are fantastic with this aswell so much energy.
