Did you play both games on Friday? Did the early one max out for player capacity? I don't want to get there and have to be an alternate.

I liked the Finsbury structure with 15 minute levels instead of 12, but it's not my favourite venue nor clientele. Of the players I recognized there were none who I really enjoy playing with.
I'm not sure about maxing out. My impression was they had room for more.

I only played the early game. The late game had hmm less than 20 players maybe?

I wont be there this Friday but the next I will be - going to try Workmans club on Thursday

There's no 'season' as such for poker, it's year round. There won't be any live poker in Victoria until after we move back out of lockdown and get to a point where we're able to feel comfortable seating 10 people in close proximity to one another while they all handle the same chips and cards, which won't be this year. When pub poker or Crown reopens head along and give live poker a crack, aim for low stakes so you don't worry too much about losing the money and instead focus on your play and building your skills.
