Everyone has to handle this thing their own way but I'm pretty much with your mum, I plan on not changing a thing in my life that I'm not forced to change and if I get it, i get it - I think I'm healthy enough to cope with it.
I'm very fortunate in the fact that my family are all very healthy and no one I'm close to has any health issues and I have no elderly relatives so it's easier for me to make that call.
Very healthy got nothing to do with it Jewelsy.

My brother currently in lockdown in Brooklyn due to a superfit 36 year old at his work coming down with it. That bloke is currently in Intensive care now hooked up to all sorts of machines as his temp hit 103 and his lungs shut down

right now hard to get excited about a mickey mouse season like it will be this oddity in the records, if you win the flag etc

need to process it

i can also see getting it in and pushing on if you can, i dunno

17 rounds regardless makes me think they are going to go forth with this cramming multiple games into a one month span crap.

No NEAFL makes their idea of top-up teams absolutely laughable. "Hey what's-ya-name-who-hasn't-played-a-game-in-weeks, you free this weekend?"

Again I repeat, Gil is a dill
At least the AFL are trying to work through something that is out of their control. Compromised competition isn’t a big issue given you could argue it is every year. I’m not sure Gill is the dill in this scenario.

buddys salary will still count in full in our cap i suppose

A corona virus effected season could be the best thing for us considering Buddy's contract. A shortened or cancelled season this year, a year we aren't expected to be in the hunt for a premiership, could give him a better chance of seeing out the couple more seasons remaining on it.

Silver linings.

i think 17 is fine

just the idea of smashing them in multiple games a week is the part that im not as keen on

They won't. You won't see Rampe, Heeney, Parker, Kennedy, Aliir etc in multiple games a week. There would be a Swans side and then a Swans 2.0 side.

Finally got a reasonable draw due to ladder position and the virus steps in and ruins it. Seriously though strange season ahead but all pales in comparison to making sure the family are safe.

and on that note hope all my big footy Swans family don’t end up personally effected.

If they did that I would imagine they might also go with a bigger unlimited interchange, particularly considering state leagues have pulled the pin.

I just can't see any clubs offering up their best players for multiple games in a week, regardless of interchanges. There will be two different standards of Swans games we'll see. One with the stars, one without them.
