It would appear so, shorter games, less recovery needed, increase the frequency of the games.

I mentioned in another comment, Australia isn't 'doing a good job', Australia is a month behind.

Since I posted this, Australia is now at 375 cases with 77 new cases yesterday.

These numbers come from whatever Australia reports to the WHO, so the numbers are much larger I agree.

Yep. We won't have 20min quarters again. Be interesting to see if the players go back to full pay or not next year. Probably will though

I've read estimates that without strict measures in place it's expected 70% of the population will get COVID-19 before the end of the year. With a current death rate of 0.5% that'll kill 87,500 people in Australia.

I’ve read that if you are healthy there is no need to wear a face mask yet healthy people do.

I'm healthy but my parents are in the 80+ bracket with one recovering from cancer. Not concerned about my health but am concerned about spreading it to others (assuming I get it).

If you get it then yes spreading is an issue and hence the need for a face mask. Prior to that people are wasting a resource that others need.

Agreed, there's a lot of panic right now and uncertainty. There's plenty of healthy people wearing masks and unhealthy people ignoring advise. Just makes it all that much harder
