I don’t think it’s that’s bad , bad enough to stop the whole world , it’s unfortunate and it’s horrid but some of the reporting and classification of it is ridiculous
Pushing people indoors again and again is not dealing with anything , how about we stop testing everyone and focus on treating sick people
There are people dying from all sorts of issues
Where you say you have accepted Not dating not shaking hands etc for years , that’s so sad , I admire your attitude in a sense , just wanting what’s right but fu** me at some point we may as well just go catch it and drop dead if living is just sitting and existing
I’m tired of the scaremongering and the blame all the selfish people and all that bullshit
You shouldn’t be confined to your house, if you choose to do it so be it
Governments started this as your graph said to spread the damage and flatten the curve what are doing now? And why is he threatening to extend the lockdown, why is he trying to change the law so he can extend lockdown
Why have a law if your just change it when it applies
Anyway stay sane you are a good person (well seem
To be on here)
Just remember from a government POV the dangerous part of the virus is not as much tge lethality but the contagiousness and hospitalisation rate.
In Melbourne I think we are around 8%-10% hospitilisation. It sounds like if you need to go to hospital with this you could be in there for weeks before youre okay to leave. So if we have 700< cases a day thats 70 people a day going to hospital for weeks.
All of a sudden our ability to help all other sick people or accidents/incidents that put people in hospital is drastically reduced. If COVID isnt controlled it theoretically means every other sickness could increase in lethality as it is harder to get the treatment you need.
We saw in Italy in March that they had people getting treated or dying in the hallways of hospitals because there was no room in the wards. I think in Houston a few weeks ago they just flat out said all of their hospitals are full.
