News cameras should be going around naming and shaming these dumb-asses/assholes at bars, restaurants, beach etc like they did those idiots on Spring break in the US. If they think they're above this or immune to it, let them be documented on footage and we'll see how history judges them all.

IMO any 'season' that cuts into November/December would be ridiculous as that then starts to **** with the 2021 season.

Plus there is this:

The potential impact on the men's World Twenty20 Championship in Australia from October will also be addressed. CA and the ICC have also made it clear they will not be ceding venues such as the MCG and SCG to the AFL should the football season stretch through until December.

"I would have thought that was very, very unlikely," one high level ICC source said on Monday.

Most AFL grounds will be unavailable including Docklands if this is the case.

i have no choice but to go into work. Thankfully, like Kingy, I generally socially isolate anyway, and I'm on backshift right now, so no one around. Wish people would take this seriously. I have become OCD about wiping things down, work seem to have an unlimited supply of alcohol wipes.

Id have to see how it’s worked personally

that’s my initial thought but by the time it restarts it might just be nice to see some normality for everyone including the players

I’m heading into work tomorrow, bet I start this job and get all materials there then get shut down by end of week.

Stage 2 shuts us down apparently

People are guessing

I mean maybe it happens, but I don’t know what point we are all just on a couch

interesting article on news site one doc saying we went to early with restrictions if you want to flatten curve, and need to pick a strategy

the abc podcast doctor says what you probably see is restrictions , then lifted to see if it Steadied then reactivate them etc

The problem with the federal government and the states is the message. On one hand ScoMo is all about schools being open which is fine. Gladys recommits to that this morning but then says you don’t have to send the kids if you don’t want to.

Wife picks the kids up from school with all their books. Apparently we are home schooling as of tomorrow.

Appreciate these are challenging times but all I want is a clear message. I’ll live with whatever comes out of it. But don’t say one thing and the schools run off and doing something else.

It’s no wonder I was hoarding booze all weekend...

I expect by the weekend we will be in a shutdown.

There will be no new normal if the season is not wrapped up by October. Pre-season usually starts for most clubs in early November. There's potential for a big knock-on effect for 2021 if the AFL messes with that schedule simply so it can finish it's remaining 144 games of this year.

It’s not the end of the world if 2021 has a shorter pre season or starts slightly later or whatever really

in this hypothetical we have got through a shit storm and we can get the rest of a season in and the public have some joy, the impact on pre season and draft won’t seem as important I reckon

like I said in two minds, yeah two heads ha ha ha ha before RW says something

IF they go the massive shutdown will be interesting if it’s all in, or key areas
All in would be my guess. They haven't made any distinction between urban and regional businesses up to this date. But Federal and State governments have shown such a disjointed approach who knows?

I read somewhere there were 88 applications for divorce when the quarantine restrictions were lifted in Wuhan. Be nice to your partners, otherwise rsvp and Tinder are that way.

There’s a chart going around comparing our rate of infection with Italy. What it doesn’t say is our testing is 10 times that of Italy.

So whilst it’s serious, we can settle on the panic a bit.

That said, the yoof of today need a bloody good kick up the arse for that Bondi and other similar shit.

Norf players hold house party. FMD
We are physically one of the youngest lists, clearly Norf are mentally the youngest list.
