Not buying into USA politics. Don’t care. But given he’s been president and as such affects world stage I’ve observed him closely.

You think he’s ok. That’s fine. Everyone has entitlement to their opinion. I don’t. In fact I think he is dangerous

If you read my post closely it would be difficult to reach the conclusion that I think Trump is “ok”. Most censored words on here are derogatory. But it started with “f” and concluded with “wit”. He’s not ok. He’s the “not ok” you get when you treat the electorate with contempt. As Hilary did and as Biden is doing with black Americans.

I wonder if wearing a "Black Lives Matter" t-shirt to the SCG this Friday buys you the right to watch the game live under the guise of a protest - on the proviso that you socially distance by leaving a vacant seat on either side. Should see a crowd of 20,000 or so.

Or is it one rule if you are a rabid lefty protestor and another if you are just an ordinary law-abiding mug?

Yep I've had similar thoughts.
I don't agree with your rabid lefty description - what these people are protesting for is something that needs urgent attention and action, but when I read that the protests were allowed to proceed legally in NSW, I wondered why therefore, was I not going to be permitted to go and watch my football team the following week.

I think he truly believes that he is...

Yes... and we are blessed that, in between smashing protests by self-centred revolutionaries that believe they shouldn’t be murdered because of the colour of their skin by law enforcement officers, calming the massive overreaction to a seasonal flu that is going to go away when the warmer months arrive anyway, funnelling squillions into the pockets of his family and friends, and fending off the commies in blue at the election in November for the sake of the people, he still finds time to disprove his detractors with exaggerated projections of doom, unsubstantiated authoritative opinion, hypocritically pathetic putdowns and jingoistic generalisations, to protect Swans fans from those devious rationalists that dare question him.

Great post. Feel free to drop in on the Donald Trump thread on the SRP board.

SA open borders 20 July, Qld aiming for 10 July, WA may not be July
25% capacity for less than 40,000 so maybe SCG stadium may allow 10,000 spectators in July

:)
Bigger crowds are destined for the SCG in just a matter of weeks, after the NSW Government granted approval for stadiums to fill up to 25 per cent capacity.
The changes take effect from the start of next month, allowing the Sydney Swans to host a crowd of at least 10,000 spectators for their clash with Melbourne on Sunday, July 5.

Community transmission controlled virtually everywhere in Aust except Vic where there were 26 new cases of community transmission in the last week. Our best hope was tracing and isolation but now that is threatened. If Vic fail to clamp down again this thing will rebound for vic and nsw driving the numbers back up. For the sake of a few weeks more lockdown the entirety is at jeopardy again. Too early opening in Nsw and vic.

Recent study of the virus has shown that it has mutated to be more infectious. That version may not yet be here as tests were USA.

All because a bunch of dickheads who were told had the virus didn't give a ****.

Yet they will live and possibly cause the death of someone else.

I guess once 30k people were allowed to march around together people thought **** it I can get on with living again

Seasons postponed.
No training allowed.

They haven’t postponed it they said have to train in small groups or non contact for team wide

If you can't train contact. How can you play contact?
It's done. Fortnight break.

Ones training ones a game?
You can do contact work in smaller groups

seems stupid if you can play but they haven’t cancelled it and I doubt they will

In theory it shouldn't disrupt too much. The mids will do their contact training with each other (bibs vs no bibs etc), same with defenders doing body work on forwards, like the video the Swans media posted of the boys doing 1v1 drills.

The full-squad, full-intensity match sim type training is usually done by the end of pre-season anyway. Weekly sessions are mainly about touching up skills and structures.
