Actually I was home schooled in a commune about 100km east of Esperance. Until the damn government said we were trespassing on crown land! Since then I've just been occasionally deploying my ability to read in the English language to occasionally rise above the moronic trash in the news the rest of you take as the absolute ceiling level of human cognition. Ironically, as you say that does pretty much make me an expert by comparison, but it should be nothing to be proud of. My university degree is in a field of cognitive science, its a modest achievement but I can at least say its in one of the less embarrassing fields as I stepped over Psychology. More than enough experts in psychologising on the board to make up for it though.

long story short, fly on the wall doco of guy accused of murdering his wife.
the interesting thing is you had 2 lots of “experts“ -those working for the prosecution and those working for the defence who came to diametrically opposing views

the experts (blood splatter etc) working for the prosecution were adamant he was guilty. Whilst the ones working for the defence (using the same “science”) were adamant he was not guilty..

the difference between that and now with Covid is that the “experts“ (health etc) who follow the narrative re vaccines and lockdowns are $employed$ whilst the ones that have questioned and not followed the state narrative ( across the western world) have lost their jobs, and are now unemployable
