You're right. Sorry TD, I was excited.Wouldn't that be in the Politics Thread?
I thought this was the anything goes thread, covid, food, tennis, why not Mr Packer. You're right. Sorry TD, I was excited.
Can I have Rose Tattoo but doing George Michael covers?Organize a rock concert in a yrs time with fu**en rose tatto skid row gunsnroses.. all the greats.. and make mention of a vaccine and the Victorian government you'll get the same response you did at the tennis.. if it's just a rose tattoo concert.. different story re..
That’s a hard question Dave.Did they only let Idiots in to watch the Tennis?
Ummm.....Just accepted BW's apology via PM.
All good people.
Carry on..
For your own health, I’d make sure I was vaccinated before I even considered leaving the safety of Australia.I would at least like the option of getting out of here if the opportunity became available. As already explained, leaving for 3 months is an accepted reason for leaving the country. If my Thai mate were paroled, I would take Thailand's expensive long term tourist visa option - I can probably do this whether or not I am vaccinated as the 14 day quarantine there will most likely be retained. I need to be in the country to help set him up when he is released.
If Cambodia provided a similar visa option, I would jump at the chance to avoid another winter here. Having the jab is an extra layer of security but may also become a requirement and potentially a quarantine waver overseas and here. At my age, this is my last chance to spend 6 months or more overseas. Australia is going with the 3 month break between jabs, and I imagine the earliest possible time to leave the country with both of them would be late August, the end of winter.
The tournament was more about eyes on screens than bums on seats. International eyes that promoted Melbourne and Australia as a destination post Covid.Given the limits placed on crowd numbers, tournament attendance would suggest that Victorians did not vote with their feet in support of the open. Crowd numbers were so poor that 2 for 1 tickets were on offer at one stage. I did not watch a second of any of the games so my information is second hand, but it seems it's the mention of the state government rather than the vaccines that caused the booing.
EDIT: Though if Djokovic is an anti vaxxer, that also explains it.
I think yours might be 5G......We're on 2 different wavelengths it seems..
Wouldn't that be a sight.. edge of heaven sh*t re.Can I have Rose Tattoo but doing George Michael covers?
I think yours might be smoke signals re.I think yours might be 5G......
Mock all you want but people have a right to be concerned about an unproven, untested experimental vaccine that at this stage doesn’t appear to do anything other than possibly lessen the severity of the symptoms.Another 0 day. 3 more and we are in the clear from the Holiday Inn outbreak which would be an excellent result.
Whilst Sky News isn't too many people's preferred source of news, they seem to have an interesting piece on at 8pm tonight. Big Shots - which sounds like it will rip into the anti-vaxxers. Good.
You're actively diminishing both the means used to procure the vaccine and the results thereof. That is about as anti-vax as possibleMock all you want but people have a right to be concerned about an unproven, untested experimental vaccine that at this stage doesn’t appear to do anything other than possibly lessen the severity of the symptoms.
It’s also experimental technology
This does not mean they deserve the label of ant-vaxxer, only that they’re cautious about what goes into their body.
Did I mention the Covid vaccine? That documentary sounds like it will focus on the likes of Wakefield, Bobby Kennedy Jr - noted anti-vaxxers, who deserve the label and certainly in the case of Wakefield, actively deceive vulnerable people.Mock all you want but people have a right to be concerned about an unproven, untested experimental vaccine that at this stage doesn’t appear to do anything other than possibly lessen the severity of the symptoms.

The right wing MSM will be pro-vaccine. They were anti restrictions because they thought it would be bad for business. But they know the vaccine will be great for business.Another 0 day. 3 more and we are in the clear from the Holiday Inn outbreak which would be an excellent result.

It's great when the interests of big business and humanity align. The right wing MSM will be pro-vaccine. They were anti restrictions because they thought it would be bad for business. But they know the vaccine will be great for business.
Now if they can work out a way of making the vaccine short lasting, whilst still the best, so that we have to buy a booster every month, that'll be great. It will get profits soaring which will gradually trickle down to benefit us even more. It's great when the interests of big business and humanity align.
Monthly, then to weekly, daily and before you know it, we will all be hooked up permanently. I think there is a movie plot in there. Now if they can work out a way of making the vaccine short lasting, whilst still the best, so that we have to buy a booster every month, that'll be great. You've just written Pete's next speech.Monthly, then to weekly, daily and before you know it, we will all be hooked up permanently. I think there is a movie plot in there.
I want to take the blue pill and go back to when Pete was the likeable TV chef. As long as his teeth are still awesome. You've just written Pete's next speech.
You've used 'awesome' twice already today and we're yet to hit noon.I want to take the blue pill and go back to when Pete was the likeable TV chef. As long as his teeth are still awesome.
Bigfooty is trying to tell me that likeable should be spelt likable. This wouldn't happen in The Matrix, thus proving I am outside it.
My first ever thumbs down. You earned it for daring to disrespect Pete Version 1.0.You've used 'awesome' twice already today and we're yet to hit noon.
You're headed towards dark places.
And Pete was never likeable, or likable, but there was a time when I couldn't figure out why I hated him.
