As long as we don't have two out of Fraser, Richards and Bryan injured at the same time it will be a non-issue..

You have more faith in Richards and Bryan than I do. If we lose Fraser for any length of time this year we are stuffed.

I personally still have to be convinced about Bryan, but do you remember how good Richards was last time he had a full pre-seaon?

I'm more concerned about his ability to stay fit for 22 rounds than his ability to play decent footy.

I'm not saying they'll be good, I'm saying they'll be better than Wakelin in the ruck, as they are at least actually ruckmen, and we should have at least one of them healthy at a time.

Realistically, unless we paid dearly for one, nothing we did was going to result in us having another ruckman that was any better than Richards or Bryan anyway.

We didnt have to pay dearly for one - we simply didnt want one. Cost had nothing to do with it.

StKilda picked up Gardiner and Clarke for a song - Carlton picked up Ackland. Keating was on the market (although I'm glad we passed on him). Everitt was available, although not cheap, he would have been a two year option as well.

Bulldogs picked Street up cheaply a few years back. Sydney picked up Jolly in 2005. Its a fallacy to say you cant get relatively cheap experienced ruckmen as a backup.

Forgive me for being slow if it has already been mentioned. But i have finally realised why this post was started by the St. Kilda fan with the sense of humor.

The article was entitled "Cox on the Rise" with the emotions next to it. And i totally just got it...Cox on the Rise...That title from a professional....lol

I originally thought he was bagging out the Youngster

Stand Up Australia on the Comedy channel is where unfunny comics go to die. Perhaps I should go down and audition!

The original title was "Screwballs the mad screwy". I don't know what it refers to, but it is lacking in a Cox joke, and is therefore against Collingwood Board rules.

I have changed it again for demonstrative purposes.

Man stand up Australia is the worst show on foxtel. My hate for Cameron Knight is overwhelming. Why can't they go back to the days when Kenny vs. Spenny was the 10:30 fixture on the comedy channel

On the topic of Comedy Channel, when are they going to update Family Guy, i mean, for the past 6 months I have been waiting for at least some of season 3, (yes, I haven't purchased season 3 yet, lazy, yes!) and they continue to only show series 1 and 2 each day. Damn it, I have watched series 1 and 2 episodes at least more than each episode of The Simpsons.

I'm tired of the argument, needless to say I think our list is one ruckman short - even a hack would be good enough IMO as a backup, even if he played every game in the VFL and wasnt required. Its a question of depth.

An extra specialist ruck is a better option than throwing Rocca or Cloke into the fray and exposing them to the risk of injury, or worse, turning to Reid or Wakelin and getting belted by 20 goals.

But I cant argue any more, I'm just repeating myself.

Stand Up Australia has some ok people on it sometimes. I just hate the clones that just do jokes on marriage "no sex ahhahaha" etc and the now-cliche'd rude female "I got my period today" comedians. Still I like the comedy channel. Family Guy, Whose Line, curb, Arrested Development, Kenny vs. Spenny.

Going further and further off-topic I just saw the boxing competition on Kenny vs. Spenny. I always cheer for Spenny to win. When Kenny locked Speny in that room, I was seconds away from yelling at my tv for Spenny to do something like breaking the door down with the TV somehow.

well i hope neither one of those 2 don't play in the ruck i hate it when we lose by 20 goals.perhaps you could mention it to mick at the next match committee meeting
