Cox in doubt

For some reason Seaby has gone backwards with his development. A few years back he could have gone to about 10 different AFL clubs and been the No 1 ruckman.

If it is wet this weekend, I wouldn't be surprised to see us go in without a second ruckman and use NN as no.1 ruck and have Lynch as the back up.
With it likely to be WET our best options are NN and Q.
More mobile rucks that can trow their body's around.

Might be without Hunter, Embley and Cox this weekend.

In goes Butler, Seaby and Houlihan for those guys I rekon.
I think Embley will get up and play.

My Outs: Cox(inj), Nicoski(shit), Spangher(go smaller in wet), Swift

Ins: Houlihan, B.Jones, R.Davis, Embley

This wont be a silky clean game, it will be a dog fight in the Mud, an old fashion slobber knocker.
So bring in some dogs....... Bones and Davis are hard and will easily find a spot at the expence of Nico and Spangher.
Houlihan I got as an in as Embley can play HFF and Houlihan on the Wing.

The team Would look like this.

FB: B.Jones, Glass, S.Selwood
HB: Hurn, Mackenzie, Stenglein
C: Embley, Priddis, A.Selwood
HF: Ebert, Kennedy, Brown
FF: LeCras, Lynch, Wirrpanda
RR: Naitanui, Kerr, Masten
INT: Rosa, Houlihan, McNamara, Davis

Emg: McGinnity, Butler, Schofield

A good mix of Experiance with youth, Not too tall but we have height where it matters and we bring in a little Roughness and Speed.

If Embers doesn't get up the Mcginnity would be my next choice and he could tag Mitchell and let Adam play as an attacking midfielder as Sewell will go straight to Kerr.

I read Woosha said they still think he may get up, so let's just wait til the teams are announced. I vaguely remember him grimacing against the final term againt the Cats. Hope he plays for my dream-team's sake.

If he doesn't get up, can we use you as a ring-in for cheap laughs, Willie Dick?

if dean cox is out which is most likely seaby has to play. i rekon they will name cox and have seaby as an emergeny and try to get him up before the game

Got to love wet weather footy at Subiaco. This is one of my favourite wet weather games (Would have been better if the result was different). I think you'll find there is plenty of mud in this game:D.

Round 13: 2003 - North v West Coast http://bigpondvideo.com/AFL/15154?Quarters=1

Anyway i really hope Cox doesn't play, it means we'll get a good look at Naitanui who looks like he could be a real star judging by his first game.

*And if Cox doesn’t play it means that Lynch (In my DT) will spend more time away from the dreaded FF as he’ll either be rucking or even roving when Nicnat/Seaby (If both are played) are resting in the goal square like we saw against the Tigers.*

Still desperately hoping Cox plays. He hasn't missed a game since 2007, and from all reports he played with a fratured foot for much of the 2nd half of last year. Wouldn't wrtie him of just yet seems fairly durable.

Any updates after today's training would be greatly appreciated.
