Black Caviar’s second Lightning for mine. Happy to be corrected, but I think it’s the only time a runner up has hit a 130 Timeform rating in Oz racing history. If not, it certainly wouldn’t have happened often. Subsequent G1 winners were behind the two of them.

Visually she had better wins, but what a race that was.
