I've been keen on HOD for a long time and think it's a big chance to cause an upset over whobegotyou.

Drawn barrier 3 so can sit just off the speed and try and get a nice trail into the race on the back of Vision and Power or Speed Gifted. Terrible ride on it last time how it was shuffled back to last once that happened it was unlikely it was ever going to catch WBGY.

I must say the Schweppes Stakes looks like to will be an amazing race.

All Silent, Apache Cat, Bank Robber, Duporth, Danleigh, Here De Angels, Light Fantastic, Lucky Secret, Mic Mac, Ortensia.

yeh wouldnt do, especially considering i did indeed back all silent at his last start, best sprinter/miler in the country imo. I was thinking moreso about whether it can run the distance? never been tried. not to sure it will suit?

I will not post for a year if the Cox plate is not part of the quaddie and race 5. Should be a 10 race card as per last year. Should be Race 8, the schedule is obviously floating and set as yet.

settle down lads, the races are not in order. They will be put in order and the times posted(if you look you'll notice there are no times listed) from tomorrow as all the fields become final. It happens every single week of the year.

On another note, if the Schweppes Stakes isnt one of the best group 2's assembled in memory(providing they all line up), we'll f**k me!

Scenic Shot for me. Thought it was with a shot before the barrier draw, and got a nice barrier this afternoon so am officially on the bandwagon. Battled hard last race, three wide; and you'd think would get an easier run here provided the jockey isn't high & mighty. Got on it on fixed odds, paying Win: $18 Place: $4.77. Hopefully it can bring home the goods.

gee the cox plate field this year is ordinary perhaps even more so than last years line up.

Apart form Whobegotyou and pehaps Heart of Dreams the rest of the field is very so-so.

The lack of depth in WFA racing these days is striking.

Just confirms that the gallop of Heart of Dreams was super impressive. The one I will keep safe is Manhattan Rain as his performance this morning will have put some confidence into the stable.

Scriven is one of the biggest knobs going round and is a butcher of the highest order and even so I still rate this horse one of the hopes.

Whobe & Heart of Dreams are hard to go past in my opinion, I'm slowly warming to Speed Gifted.. Whobe is no value though so if anything I'm leaning towards HOD, although the best bet for the day could be to sit this race out which will probably be what I end up doing.. My one at odds is Road to Rock..

And has won at the track b4.

Might just have a small nibble at the $31 to win aswell just for the sake of it.

I think it is overs as well although I'm trying to determine how good the Sydney form is. Vision and Power came 3rd to WBGY and HoD in the Yalumba and Road to Rock beat Vision and Power at it's previous start. It's hard to write off but I'm not a big fan of Sydney form this year
