Leave him at Peel with instructions to fix his goal kicking and complete more of the marks he always gets his hands to.

Also give him time in defence to help build some depth.

Think he can make it, but he’s well behind Lobb Hogan and Tabs, and Hamling Pearce and probably Logue. Will get a better read on the last one over the pre-season games. I think Logue will be similar in terms of marking, but has him covered for kicking and athleticism.

Cox is handy depth for our forwards at this stage.

Biggest issue is we have too many talls on the list who are forward rucks so getting that balance at Peel is impossible, opportunities to be the first or second forward in attack will be scarce for a few players.
Amazing we have 7 players 200cm or taller and 16 players over 192.

Way to many to carry.

Nah forward, easy. Our most promising tall forward in a long time.

Sonny - Lobb - ?
McCarthy - Hogan - Cox

McCarthy is an optimistic one but when Lobb goes into the ruck we have Hogan, Cox, McCarthy to fill in. If those two are to succeed it'll be as third talls and guys who run down the wing, multi-positional players but can play as a key forward when guys are having a spell or out injured.

Taberner should be delisted, traded if we get Hogan and Lobb. Experiment failed. A long time ago.
Tabs kicked 4 goals on the weekend and Hogan is still out..... Excellent post 👌

Not sold on Cox anywhere on the ground as yet. Looks like a decent backup in the back line though.
It's a weird season. Bad enough the season is marred by this corona virus 😷.

It's also bad that Pearce and hamling and also Logue is out injured too.

Cox has never grown as a player. Still plenty of time but at the moment he is only back up.

Clearly Hamling, Pearce and Logue are our first choice three talls - but The latter two have spent more games in rehab than in the 22 over the last three seasons, and there are whispers of a career ending injury for Hamling.

Given that, I think Cox may end up playing a lot of games down back as a second tall alongside AP or Hamling, with Logue as the third tall...and I reckon Cox would do a more than adequate job of it.

The only combination I don’t fancy would be AP, Hamling and then Cox as the third tall if Logue was the one injured. I’d rather ask Ryan to play as a third tall and then cover Ryan with Duman/Watson.

Dunno about that I'd say he's the most creative player with the ball out of all of them bar maybe Young or Shilly

Good in the air , probably better on the ground and he sees the field really well for a player of his size

There is not that many players like him , you might all be in for a bit of a surprise with what he could be in a team that is purring if you ask me
