Kylie had committed if Danni agreed to be assistant. Sadly Danni wasn't interested.I heard he was the Pies 8th choice, after Clarko, Lyon, Pyke, Voss, Graham, Kingsley, Warrick Capper and Kylie Minogue all turned them down. I guess he'll have to do.

Weird logicIt’s why you need to be very careful when wanting to move a coach on. How does anyone think McCrae will be better than Buckley.
If you are gonna sack your coach, you’d better make sure you’ve got be bloke you want already on the bag to do in my opinion
Players wanted Buckley gone.. There was a group that spoke up saying they'd had enough. It’s why you need to be very careful when wanting to move a coach on. How does anyone think McCrae will be better than Buckley.

The coaching group needs as much change as possible. The assistants that have been there too long need moving onSo they look like losing Harvey and Sanderson too?
Would you not keep some of the experienced coaches you have, so much change all at once?

Harvey too? I get the fresh start but would it not be good for new coach to get the experience of past insightThe coaching group needs as much change as possible. The assistants that have been there too long need moving on
Possibly. If McRae wants any insights i guess he could seek him out. I think if hes in it for the long term, he'll want to put his own stamp on things with a fresh coaching group. Just my opinionHarvey too? I get the fresh start but would it not be good for new coach to get the experience of past insight
Also Buckley has to take some responsibility for the list mgt balls ups too.Players wanted Buckley gone.. There was a group that spoke up saying they'd had enough.
Mcraes a great coach that just hasn't been given the chance till now. He's a players type of coach who can build strong relationships. Buckley lost majority of the playing group.

Didnt know that but very interesting.McRae worked at the storm with Bellamy
Richmond VFL and development coach Craig McRae played a valuable role in Melbourne Storm’s thrilling NRL qualifying final victory over South Sydney at AAMI Park last Friday night.
McRae is a part-time kicking and catching coach with the Storm, and his teachings paid big dividends for them in the frenetic final minutes of the contest when winger Josh Addo-Carr produced a clever banana kick to set teammate Cheyse Blair up for a game-equalling try.
A field goal from Cameron Munster subsequently sealed a 29-28 win for Melbourne Storm.
Addo-Carr paid tribute to McRae for teaching him the unique Australian Football kick in a post-game interview on foxsports.com.au.
“I don't know his full name, but his nickname is Fly,” Addo-Carr said.
Fly? Held his own. Was a pretty handy midfielder small forward.Wasn’t he a pig of a man during his playing days?
Ship out the dead woodSo they look like losing Harvey and Sanderson too?
