I wonder if this might be an opportunity for Bucks to bring old mate Sanderson in who is currently doing development work with the AFL under 18's??
Let's recruit the best person. Not the best friend.

We have enough of that with Lockyer and Rocca at the club.

So let me get this right -

anyone that leaves = a massive loss.
anyone coming in like Treloar = will not make any difference.
Are you understating McRae?

The 2 most important facets at a club are recruiting and development. Craig is the head of player development.

Craig is highly regarded industry wide.

My comment has nothing to do with him but more the nature of all your posts.

Therefore we will seek to replace him with the best available. Coaches, assistants, development and line coaches swap clubs all the time. It's the reality of the industry. He spent five years with us, and now he is going elsewhere. Wish him the best. And please spare us the doomsday apocalyptic interpretation of why he is leaving.

Thanks to Craig for his years of service. Hopefully he has set us up on the path to success, and if he hasn't then I can't think of a better club for him to be heading to :p

Now to go out and get the best replacement we can find.

So is Tapping definitely going also?

Wouldn't be good to lose both.

P.S-What the hell is it with Carlton always poaching from us?

This time they might actually land someone of use.

He actually seems to do an exceptional job with the youth and VFL team. Pretty bad to see him go. But lets be honest, I can't imagine that is exactly a hard role to fill. As long as we don't hire someone because they have a past with Collingwood which is what seems to be happening within our development/VFL ranks, i'll be happy.

Oh no, losing the development coach, may as well give up now.:drunk:

One thing he never helped develop was an improvement in our kicking skills.

I'd go after Leigh Brown myself, this quote says it all about him;

@aflvic: So many times you go to local footy training and they spend time on game-styles but the players can't kick - Leigh Brown #VLineCup #YGShield
That comment could sum up Collingwood itself, if anyone's been to training you know what I mean.
