Just because someone posts what they think on bf, doesn't mean it's a rumourLet’s hope the rumour that 2026 is his last year and skipworth is taking over for 2027 is not true.

Succession plan 2.0!Just because someone posts what they think on bf, doesn't mean it's a rumour![]()
Oh there absolutely is no doubt he should be the one to do it. The question is does he see himself coaching long enough to oversee the transition. My point is, Fly should be trusted to transition the list on the go, as Chris Scott did between 2011 > 2020
I've had enough succession plans for a thousand lifetimes.Succession plan 2.0!

Not so much that, more that he is noncommittal about years into the future. Pretty in line with his live in the now approach, and a bit more of a balance in life than the sickos like Malthouse who want to coach forever (love you Mick)Did Fly really say a while ago that he doesn't see himself at Collingwood long term?
I will be devastated if this guy leaves after a short tenure. We would have to look back at this period as a flash in the pan. It would be heartbreaking.
He simply said he doesn't see himself as a long term coach.Did Fly really say a while ago that he doesn't see himself at Collingwood long term?

100000% agreeI've had enough succession plans for a thousand lifetimes.
Hopefully we lock up fly on along term contract this year ,rather than dragging it into next year.
Forget about the 15 years, he was non-committal about 5 years. He simply said he doesn't see himself as a long term coach.
So he doesn't want to be coaching in 15 years time?
Considering he's only been with us since 22, I wouldn't be concerned.
Maybe you dreamt it.Did I hear Fly say he thought Mihocek played well? Surely not.
he said, after 2023, that if it got to the stage where football was taking too much time from him being a good father, he would walk away.Forget about the 15 years, he was non-committal about 5 years.
That's what got my attention.
Nah I’m sure I heard it.Maybe you dreamt it.
If you can’t be sure you heard it I have to question your cognitive functioning.Nah I’m sure I heard it.
You would probably agree with that too.

I don’t recall it, but if he did he’s likely just going into bat for a player he wants to stick around next yearNah I’m sure I heard it.

Nope - that's what Fly saidMaybe you dreamt it.
You knew what sense I meant. If you can’t be sure you heard it I have to question your cognitive functioning.
I love you Axle, still not a fan of your bandYou knew what sense I meant.
Just your sad attempts at needling people like you do.
