Intersting one here, last week the stories were coming out that Bellamy had refused medical opinion that his knee was ok, and was convinced that he needed to have an operation. He has missed the last three games for Newcastle, and there was even talk that the little f**ker was comtemplating retirement.
Now it turns out that Wales have had an independent opinion that he is ok and he is in line to play against Italy this week. Understandably Uncle Bobby Robson is not totally pleased, and has warned of Dyer (like that) consequences if he comes back tot he North East injured.
I get the feeling that there is more than meets the eye here, it just seems to me that Bellamy is happy to play for Wales, but doesn't want to play for Newcastle. Will be an interesting little sideline to Saturdays game at the San Siro anyway.
