Goal of the year...people love to hate on essendon...if that was Buddy everyone would be talking about it for weeks and McPharlin would be the new Hooker!

Just happy the week off has freshened Crameri up and he can actually run again.

Cracking goal.

Buddy's was better, don't get me wrong.

But I said it at the time, and I'll say it again: Buddy actually started a few metres in front of Hooker before the chase began, and yet despite gaining metres initially, slowed down, with Hooker getting back to even pegging by the end.

Crameri started with McPharlin just behind him, and yet finished up with about 2 metres of space.

As the commentators said, McPharlin is no slouch. To turn around, see him so close behind and have the confidence to run into goal was something else. Lewis Jetta had an awesome run earlier this year, but this was far more difficult.

Not goal of the year. Great run, but not a MAGIC goal. Buddy's goal last year had all that PLUS a boundary line kick

Not my board, but Crameri is an absolute beast of an athlete. Looks like a powerlifter and has serious pace.

Has he always sort of had this from his VFL days or has he just really taken to AFL standard gym programs?
