I liked the article the other where I"m pretty sure Crawf said he'd like to play for 'at least three more seasons'. That's great news. He's in top shape still, and looks after himself better than anyone, so really he could play as long as he wants too.

Good to get Roughead's signing out of the way early.

Did anyone notice that the media decided not to use the wording sign-on as in the board, but instead re-sign... which looks an awful lot like resign... which could give the wrong impression but sell an awful lot more papers... think about it. Hawks on fire, Crawf resigns... I mean re-signs.

Sometimes long contracts lead to complacent performances... best to make 'em work for it... and in the case of Shane it's become clear he's not going anywhere.
