Ljp86 flattered at CrazyQ's remarks

West Coast Warriors fast bowler and vice-captain, Ljp86 has said he was flattered by CrazyQ's outburst today at his claims that he should captain the Warriors in place of Jod23.

Jod, who lead the Warriors into the one-day finals this year, is the captain of the side and at times has come under criticism from other players in the competition as well as some of his own.

"I'm quite flattered that CrazyQ thinks I should be captain of the Warriors and am quite honoured to think that I would be worthy of such a role at the club."

Ljp86 went on to say that he was happy with whatever Jod wanted to do and is content to continue as vice-captain of the Warriors.

"Look, I'm happy to continue as vice-captain with the Warriors, I think Jod is doing a decent job at the moment and am quite content to be his second in command. Jod lead us from a seemingly hopeless position in the one-day competition mid-season and managed to get our club into the finals which didn't look very likely midway through the year. We also won our final two test matches against the Geelong Gumbies and none-other than Whitsunday Crocodiles. Things look pretty bright for 2007 and even though we've had a couple of players leave, I still believe that we can improve as a whole on this year in 2007."

When asked about the depatures from the club, Ljp said he was disappointed but wished them well.

"It was disappointing to see players like Locky and Brittany go to Team 13 but they are good players and were in high demand and I'm sure that CrazyQ will look after them. Crazy is a good bloke, I've had a few beers with him over the season and we get along quite well, I'm sure he'll do a great job with Brittany and Locky."
Ljp also wished Mojo_ a farewell and good luck at whichever club he chooses to play for.

In related news, Ljp86 announced his engagement to girlfriend Jennifer Hawkins.

"We've been together for quite a while and we just recently got engaged. I asked her a few nights ago and she said yes. It was the traditonal way, bent on one knee, candlelit dinner, you know, the old school way. She said yes immediately. I'm happy and so is she. Her career's going great and so is mine. It seemed the perfect time to ask. We are both very happy."
