This made me think that GC may not want to isolate fans who weren't Southport fans so I made this mess...

A combination of the 3 Gold Coast QAFL teams jumpers with a maroon background to show their Queensland heritage.

I don't think I did very well with this idea but maybe someone else can.

I just wanted to see what a channel go jumper would look like

North Melbourne president James Brayshaw who is contracted to channel nine has agreed to promote their new digital channel GO! on their guernsey as a promotion jumper

Re: Create an AFL Guernsey

Bulldogs are KooGa now?
Yep!

THE Western Bulldogs have pulled off a significant sponsorship coup, signing clothing company KooGa to a deal worth an estimated $2 million.

KooGa will contribute about $500,000 over four years and provide a new-look tight-fitting guernsey.

It is believed the deal is worth five times more than the club's arrangement with Diadora, which ran out this season.

KooGa will be a second-tier partner with WorkSafe, sitting under major backer Mission.

Re: Create an AFL Guernsey

Got bored and did myself Brisbane Lions 2010 Guernseys. The first one is for use in home games (Hence Queensland's Maroon and Gold), and for games away from Melbourne. The second one is Fitzroy inspired (You're an idiot to think it wasn't), and for use in games in Melbourne. Like the current one. I dropped the lion on the guts and moved it to the chest, like a Telstra Premiership jumper, instead of having a bloody sponsors logo there. In my opinion, the sponsor goes on the guts, or it doesn't go on the front of a jumper. Like in every other sport.

I like the jumpers but this does not happen in "every other sport". The Big 4 in North America do not have very many, if any sponsors logos on their uniforms. I feel a big logo in the front centre of the jumper cheapens it.

Re: Create an AFL Guernsey

Having a small sponsor on the front is far better than having ridiculously oversized in your face middle and center sponsor logos. Not only does it make you look like an advertising pawn, it constricts the individuality of the team and design.

Wow, that looks nice.

Umm, I got a favour - if it is not to much trouble could you upload that template you use?

Thanks. :thumbsu:

Re: Create an AFL Guernsey

I will be nice and give you it, sure.........I do prefer shirts without sponsors really, apart from the apparel sponsor. I am being biased because I live in a country where Cricket and both codes of Rugby rule, and the sponsors there are generally on the front of the shirt. I just would prefer to keep the front 'advertisment-free'.
