Re: Create an AFL Guernsey
The Fremantle Football Club uses the anchor symbol as the basis for all of their guernseys or jumpers (unlike other sporting codes it is rarely called a jersey, shirt or kit). The home jumper is purple, with a white anchor on the front separating the chest area into two panels, which are coloured red and green to represent the traditional maritime port and starboard colours. The current alternative or clash guernsey is all white with a purple anchor. [11] got that off wikipedia, also believe the green, white and red represents the italian heritage of fremantleJust a question. Where does Freo's colours come from or are they just something that they thought would look good? Like Port's teal is a representation of the Port River and I'm sure theres clubs that have colours that mean something.
