Based on Hawthorn's first ever VFL jumper, inspired by sydney's new clash jumper.

EDIT: I honestly believe coolknot had no idea any of those jumpers ever existed. Was he even around when those jumpers were made?

OK, this guernsey is based on the St Kilda 2010 slogan, "Actions. Not Words. This Is Saints Footy."

I thought that the best example of "Actions. Not Words," during St Kilda's history was the event that took place involving Nicky Winmar during round 4 of the 1993 season between St Kilda and Collingwood (Saturday 17, April) when he lifted his shirt to the Collingwood crowd.

Anyway, using the slogan, and this event as inspiration, I present to you my St Kilda Football Club 2010 slogan guernsey.

Yeh Ive gotta agree. The whole point of that stand was to show that he was proud of the colour of his skin so you should keep it balck if at all possible.

Just asking, but do players still sometimes wear long sleeve jumpers on-field? I just went to the AFL store at Southland and Chadstone and I saw long sleeve versions of the jumpers all teams wear now.

There was a Brisbane player that wore long sleaves all the time because of a skin condition I think, but that was a while ago now

Brad Hardie? Played for Footscray as well. Wore long sleeves because he suffered burns to 70-80% (?) of his body as a kid.

Also, IIRC Fitzroy's Kevin Murray famouly wore long sleeves when the Queen came to watch a match because his Dad (?) told him to cover up his tattoos
