He shouldn't have been picked even last summer, 200 against a shite attack on a flat deck is void imo, should never have been in the squad. Still England with the slight advantage in my opinion. Australia’s tail is pretty thin. Lose one of Khawaja or Carey early and it’s hard to see any decent first innings lead being built. Moreover, Australia’s batting lineup looks susceptible to losing clumps of wickets quickly in any fourth innings chase in my view.
It’s still been a really entertaining two days, though, and the game is well poised.

Still plenty of runs in this pitch, would ideally want of a lead of 50-100+, England will bat quickly and want plenty of time to bowl us out again.
Really entertaining match so far though, just hope the next pitch has a bit more life in it!

Gotta keep it under 200. Warner is useless and we have a massive long tail. Basically 6/7 blokes have to make the runs. I can see the Poms having a lead of 250+. Root loves these pitches. Getting him out is key
