it first and foremost sounded like she hadn't read CA's social media policy, the type of thing employers create to avoid a loose cannon on their books, among other reasons. or her own job description. i think the point on abortion she makes is poignant and needed, but it does show that she was either ignorant of CA's social media policy or didn't care.
the letter she received states the disparaging tone of her remarks rather than her political views are what gave grounds for termination. i don't doubt that there may have been pressure to move her on from elsewhere.

Her job was to maintain positive relationships and communicate with the government. She has slagged off one of those governments in a public forum...it doesn't matter the gender or the issue...it appears to me as though she has undermined the purpose of her own role.

For what it's worth I don't disagree with what she said one bit
