Safe to say that Kohli won't be invited to the Aussies' post match party: they're getting into him just about every ball. But gee he's a quality player: Tendulkar has retired, but I reckon this bloke is every bit as good as Sachin.

Someone on cricinfo not happy ...

Dwayne Schultz: "Stuff bringing on Lyon - bowl Shaun Marsh from one end and Watson from the other and tell them whoever takes the first wicket gets to keep their spot in the team. The loser has to be twelfth man and share a hotel room with Peter 'Baked Beans Diet' Siddle in Sydney."

that is brilliant.

India must be batting for the draw.. It's like they want to hand us the Border/Gavaskar trophy themselves.

I'd keep Shaun Marsh in the side regardless at least he's a proper batsman albeit inconsistent, Watto isn't doing either all rounder duties at the minute, saying that he'll probably break this partnership now lol.

shit tactics from both teams today. Hey we might still win but we could've made it much easier for ourselves. Still banking on this fizzling out to a lame draw. Seriously though was india making 380 odd in 2 sessions ever a serious threat. I actually thought we should've hit out for 5-10 over at the absolute max today. Hitting out last night would've been even better.

6 down. In the first innings India survived 10 overs after the 6th wicket went down but Kohli and Ashwin took up 8 of those.

India have scored 607 runs so far and 2 batsmen have scored 418 of those.

Its not about whether we win or not....

Just the decision to declare was baffling and marsh's lack of urgency to make his 100...which was his downfall in the end
I reckon the Aussies may have been spooked a little by Kohli's innings in Adelaide. He nearly dragged India over the line, and I'm sure Smith was anxious to avoid giving the visitors even the slightest chance of victory.

Still after the rain delay today they should have belted the ball we had enough runs as it was....except all we got was time wasting BS

Crap finish to an average final day topped off with the decision to give up with 4 overs left, I know we probably wouldn't have taken the wickets but all it takes is one good delivery to dismiss Dhoni & their tail would crumble.

Oh well one things for certain the MCG isn't close to Adelaide Oval when it comes to last day finishes.
