How does follow-on works? If Australia scores more runs than India, do the Indians bat again or have them forfeit their second innings batting?
India would still get their second innings. In a test match if a team is more than 200 runs behind on first innings they may (not compulsory) be asked to follow on, ie have their second innings before the other team has theirs. Quite often the follow-on is not enforced if it is decided that the bowlers need a rest, or if the pitch might deteriorate so badly that even a small 4th innings target would be tricky.
